Christmas in February

Guess What?

The starter kit arrived today! It’s always a surprise to open a package even when you know what’s inside. I’m so excited! It feels like Christmas in February.

The fun part about ordering was choosing what I wanted. I centered everything around the Free As a Bird Stamp Set. There is a Designer Series Paper that goes with it, but I didn’t order it. Instead, I concentrated on cardstocks, inks, and markers. I go a bonus because the promotion for joining was a sample pack of Designer Series Paper, a mini paper cutter, and a past Paper Pumpkin. I almost forgot. I ordered the silicone mat because adhesives will wash or rub right off of it. I’ll definitely use that to keep my work surface clean.

Remember the reasons my husband used to encourage me to join Stampin’ Up!? One has been proven today… it will benefit our girls. Even as I type this, my daughter is saying, “Are you done yet, Mom?” LOL. She wants to open the cardstocks and make a card. I’m sure we’re going to have many crafting hours of fun together.
