Card Making Day
Yesterday, our daughter finished her homework and wanted to craft. We completed the March Paper Pumpkin Kit and just had fun making a lot of cards together. Her favorite stamp set is the “The Gang’s All Meer” and she says it’s all because of the “cute little lizard”. She also experimented with watercoloring. Didn’t she do a great job?
While stamping with “Someone Special” I discovered a technique that I’ll be sharing with you later. It’s so easy, I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of it before.
There was one card that didn’t make it into the group photo. It’s a birthday card for my brother-in-law and I finally finished it today. The inspiration card looked easy to duplicate, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I used different stamp sets, changed the colors and didn’t have dies. I don’t mind fussy cutting, but there was a lot to cut. In spite of it all, I enjoyed the process of trial and error.
(Hi, Mike! You’ll get this card soon! it will be late, but you’ll get it. LOL)
