More Cards from Judie!

If you remember from a previous post, I showed beautiful cards from my friend, Judie. She recently blessed me with 9 more cards to share with you. Her designs are simple and elegant, but what stands out is her attention to details. You won’t find ink smudges, glue boo boos, or Stampin’ Dimensionals peeking out from underneath any element. (Any smudges that show in the pictures come from my family passing them around as we ooh and ahh.) What I’ve also learned from Judie is to stamp clear images. Stamped images are the focal point and are worth getting right. Practice on scrap paper first and you’ll be happy that you did. Be sure to scroll to see all 9 cards. The last one will really make you smile.

Stamp Set: Good Morning Magnolia

These two beautfiul cards use the Good morning Magnolia Stamp Set. The colors are Basic Black, Petal Pink and Old Olive. These pictures don’t show her beautiful coloring.

Both cards have heat embossed sentiments and beautiful layering.

Stamp Set: Framed For You

Judie’s choice of colors in the next three cards are ones I want to copy. For the first and third card, she took time to fussy cut the little flowers and leaves. This is a total of 13 flowers and 9 leaf branches. In these cards and the ones below she uses Very Versailles. She stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzaz and added Old Olive Stampin’ Blends for depth. The time she takes shows she truly cares about the people who receive her cards.

Colors: Highland Heather, Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive, and Whisper White

Dies: Stitched Ovals and Layering Ovals.

Notice the little white pearls in the center of the flowers.

Colors: Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White. Flirty Flamingo is also used, but it is retired.

Again, notice the pearls in the center of the flowers, but this time she used Stampin’ Blends to color the pearls to match. What an awesome idea!

The sentiment came from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.

Colors: Flirty Flamingo (retired) and Old Olive. Look closely to see that she made her own background using Flirty Flamingo inked images on Flirty Flamingo cardstock. This adds a subtle, professional touch.

Dies: Layering Ovals

Again, notice the pearls for flower centers.

Stamp Set: Very Versailles

The next three cards feature Very Versailles. After I see what she does with a stamp set, I want to buy it right away because I’m so inspired by her work. These are so beautiful.

Colors: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Pear Pizzaz ink

Colors: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzaz ink, Old Olive Stampin’ Blends

Dies: Stitched Rectangles

Colors: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Old Olive Stampin’ Blends

Stamp Set: Back On Your Feet

This is the cutest card! It’s so adorable in its simplicity!

She used Misty Moonlight for the card base and chose a coordinating Designer Series paper from the Flowers for Every Season pack. She colored the turtle using Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and then fussy cut and attached it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The poor turtle who is the center of attention makes you smile. This card needs nothing else.

Judie, thank you for blessing us with your time and talent!
