How about some peach trivia to go with these peachy cards? Someone once said, “An apple is an excellent thing – until you have tried a peach.” That Someone was George du Maurier and if you love to read you will recognize his name. Mr. Du Maurier was the grandfather of Daphne du Maurier who wrote the beloved classic, Rebecca. He was also the grandfather to the five boys who inspired J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan. He loved peaches.
You’re a Peach Suite
You don’t have to like the taste of peaches to love the You’re a Peach Suite. The Designer Series Paper and the peachy sentiments inspire you to be creative. As you can see below I’ve been busy making many cards. I will have more in a later post.
Buy You’re a Peach as a suite or purchase only what you want. The DSP is beautiful.
Base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and folded to center
Border for sides: 4 1/8″ x 2 5/8″
DSP for sides: 4″ x 2 1/2″
Scalloped Circle Die: A Circle die within a Scallop Circle to get edge, cut 3 and layer for a thicker circle. Use any circle dies you have.
Sentiment Circle: Same Circle Die as above, but cut in white. Use the inside circle.
You don’t have to use the You’re a Peach Suite for just peaches. it has blossoms/flowers as well.

The peaches look much better in person than in this picture. Just play with the colors until you get the look you want. Don’t stress because no two peaches look the same. On asome peaches, I didn’t use the Poppy Parade.
I absolutely adore this DSP. It looks like I used four different. Designer Series Papers, but I only used two. Use both sides to get full use of your DSP. The
I will have another post using You’e a Peach next week, but before then, there will be a post about emobssing folders next.
